Node Add Improvements

The Default Drupal Node (you can think of it as a page or content container) Add and Edit forms are quite notorious for the amount of clicking required.

The following Wireframe would remove a lot of that difficulty:

With Jquery, the form tabs can not only be resized according to number of tabs horizontally but they on hover, the tabs can be made to automatically reveal the contents they contain. While techinically challenging for small companies to produce given their budgets , the proficency of Drupal developers at drupal.org could make such things possible in Drupal 6 or 7.

The video below shows how Forms in Drupal 5 are currently handled

I'm working on new Default theme for Drupal

I am working with morphir from drupal.org (who has had usability patches installed into Drupal core) to create wireframes for a new easier to use admin theme for Drupal.

If we create it in time, it could be used in Drupal 6.x (currently RC2) as the default theme. The theme that gave us the inspiration is able to work in Drupal 6: http://drupal.org/project/rootcandy

Preview of the theme that inspired some of the work: http://drupal.org/files/issues/admin_site_config_2nd_5.png

Launching a Free Blog for Anglo Indians

I've had a quick look online and have not found a blogging platform dedicated for Anglo Indians. The site would be free and allow multiple users the way blogspot.com and wordpress.com does.

The URL is currently under registration and I look forward to the site being useful to Anglo Indians and to many who are interested in getting to know the anglo Indian community better.

The site address is: http://angloindianblogs.com
